This privacy policy describes MomSource’s current policies and practices with regard to personal data collected by MomSource through its website and personal data associated with the use of the platform. This privacy policy is independent from MomSource’s offline personal data collection practices. The term “personal data” refers to personally identifiable information about you, such as your name, birth date, credit card number, e-mail address or mailing address, and any other information that is identified with you personally, including your individual health information.


Notification of Changes to This Policy.

MomSource is continually improving and adding new functionality and features to its websites and improving and adding to our existing products, services, and programs. Because of these ongoing changes, changes in the law, and the changing nature of technology, MomSource’s data practices will change from time to time. Personal Data Collected Through

Other than cookies, as described below, the only personal data MomSource currently collects through its websites is the information you voluntarily give us when you use our sites. For example, you may use this site to contact MomSource with questions and comments. When you fill out a form on our websites, you may provide your name and other contact information, including your company’s name, your e-mail address, and your mailing address or the mailing address of your company or other personal information. If you do not wish to fill out all of the information on the form you are not required to do so. Most of our registration forms require only your name and e-mail address. When you submit information to us through, you will receive a confirmation e-mail if you enter a valid e-mail address.

Use of Personal Data Collected by MomSource.

MomSource uses the personal data information you provide to answer your question or resolve your problem. MomSource and our affiliates also use this information to help us improve the content and functionality of our websites, to better understand our customers and markets, and to improve our products and services. MomSource and our affiliates may use this information to contact you in the future to tell you about products or services we believe will be of interest to you. If we do so, each communication we send you will contain instructions permitting you to “unsubscribe’ from receiving future communications.

In some instances, MomSource has partnered with third party vendors that may offer, among other things, merchandise, or push advertisements to you through their own websites. Those third party websites may, with the permission of MomSource, be skinned to look similar to, or demonstrate an affiliation with, MomSource. Such third party vendors have a separate privacy policy which you should review carefully if you choose to use the third party website. Use of any such third party website or third party mobile app, and providing information to such third party websites, constitutes your consent to such third party to collect and use the same information in a manner consistent with this Policy. Note, however, that such third party websites or mobile apps may not recognize or respond to “Do Not Track” headers from web browsers, and therefore it may be necessary to opt-out of such information collection through these third parties, in accordance with their respective privacy policy or policies. MomSource expressly disclaims any liability for use of information provided to third parties and made available to MomSource.

Information collected through the MomSource Network Platform includes any information identified in this policy that may be collected through the Site and, in addition, the App may collect location data, in the forms of both GPS data and/or beacon transmitter data, (if enabled on your mobile device). If you download the MomSource app and opt-in to proximity notifications using Beacon technology and/or notifications based on your GPS location as provided by your mobile device through the App, you consent to collection of your personal information, including location data and any purchases made on third party sites through the Service (where possible) using a variety of methods, including but not limited to, cookies, beacons, location data, and others (“Collection Tools”). You may opt-out of these notifications any time, including turning off your mobile device’s ability to share location data. If you do turn off these Collection Tools, you may not have access to many features that make your experience more efficient and enjoyable, and some features may not function properly.

Anonymous Data Collected MomSource.

In addition to the information you provide when you use our websites, MomSource uses technology to collect anonymous information about the use of our websites. For example, we use technology to track how many visitors access our websites, the date and time of their visit, the length of their stay, and which pages they viewed. We also use technology to determine which web browsers our visitors use and the address from which they accessed our sites (for example, if they connected to a MomSource website by clicking on one of our banner ads).

This technology does not identify you personally. It simply enables us to compile statistics about our visitors and their use of our sites. MomSource and our affiliates use this anonymous data and share it with third parties to improve the content and functionality of our websites, to better understand our customers and markets, and to improve our products and services.

Disclosure of Your Personal Data.

MomSource may share some or all of the personal data collected through this website with our affiliates. Both MomSource and our affiliates may share personal data collected through its websites with third-party vendors who act for or on behalf of MomSource or our affiliates (for example, companies that provide support services to us, including data processing services, or that help us market our products and services). These companies may need information about you in order to perform their functions. These companies are not authorized to use the information we share with them for any other purpose. In addition, there may be some other, limited circumstances in which MomSource or our affiliates may share or transfer the personal data in our databases, for example, to comply with a legal requirement, for the administration of justice, to protect your vital interests, or in the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution, or similar event. MomSource employees and contractors may have access to your personal data.

While no method of data transmission is guaranteed against unlawful third party interception or other misuse, MomSource uses commercially reasonable efforts to ensure protection of your data including industry-standard encryption and offline security methods at our physical facilities. MomSource employees and contractors may have access to personal data. Such access will be limited to a need-to-know basis.

Governing Law.

This privacy policy forms part of our website Terms and Conditions and as such shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Tennessee.

If an individual person uses the Service and is a resident of California, then this section may apply.

FOR RESIDENTS OF CALIFORNIA ONLY. Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code requires select businesses to disclose policies relating to the sharing of certain categories of customers’ personal information with third-parties. These businesses are required to accept requests for disclosures of these policies from customers but are only required to honor one request per calendar year. Businesses have thirty (30) days to respond to each inquiry to the designated address. Each inquiring customer will receive an explanation of the categories of customer information shared and the names and addresses of any third-party businesses. In limited circumstances, customers’ failure to submit requests in the manner specified will not require a response from the business.
